Transparent pricing with no hidden costs
At Bayfields all of our prices are transparent so there are no hidden costs. Your first hour is charged as a whole hour, but thereafter you will only be charged every half-hour. In general, quotations for work are carried out free of charge. Large-scale commercial projects may attract a fee, but this is subject to discussion. The rates listed below are without the cost of materials and VAT at the current rate.
Electricians
All repairs & maintenance – 1st hour charged at £55 (from time of leaving our offices (IP13 0TA), subsequent hours charged at £42.
Electrical Condition Reports, examples of costs dependent upon location and quantity
(based on the property having one, single-phase board with up to 10-circuits):
1 beds £145 + VAT
2 beds £175 + VAT
3 beds £215 + VAT
4 beds £250 + VAT
5 beds £300 plus £25 per additional bedroom over 5 + VAT
PAT testing – dependent on the number of appliances but our guide price is £3.50 per item, plus VAT.
Please note that there is a minimum charge of £75 + VAT.
